The Links Centre 2030 (TLC2030) aims to instil realisable aspiration in the young through training and support to create a more fulfilling and successful life for families and friends, and to enhance a sense of community and neighbourhood. It delivers positive outcomes through directly managed social projects and the commissioning of other charities and public organisations.
TLC2030 works in an integrated and inclusive way, linking with other aligned organisations to achieve its goals in the communities in which it operates.
Founded by experienced business leaders, it's a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) whose aim is to offer new and attractive vocational learning pathways for young people aged 16 to 26 who may not fit into the normal academically based career routes or who have slipped through the further educational net.
We work with the more deprived areas of our local Surrey community in particular in North Leatherhead where the percentage of young adults 'Not in Employment, Education or Training' (NEETs) is three times higher than the national average .
We have an ambition to expand nationally and internationally, with activities open to all regardless of age, gender, ethnicity and social background.
