David Earle

David Earle has had the good fortune to work in many Blue-Chip Companies across two countries (South Africa and UK) within Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies, bringing new products to market and involvement in Environmental sustainability benefits across the supply chain. My experience in the FMCG market has been in manufacturing companies (Unilever, Tiger Brands, Illovo Sugar) as well as packaging company, Tetra Pak. My career has focused on the internal marketing of consumer goods, national account manager and ensuring the route-to-market via retailers and online was optimised.

I spent most of my career in South Africa but enjoyed three years with Lever Brothers in UK from 1994 – 1997, before returning to South Africa to have a family. I have three incredible children (two daughters and a son) who have done me so proud. I have had a rewarding and exciting career in South Africa, but my passion and love for the UK brought me back in 2018 to join Tetra Pak in Chester.

During my time at Unilever UK in Kingston-upon-Thames, I worked with Eddie on the supply chain forecasting model. I have remained in contact all these years back in South Africa and my love for ultra-marathons, having done 11 Comrades, enticed Eddie to come run one!

I joined TLC2030 after seeing the massive impact Eddie and Bill were making in the community.
