William (Bill) Donnelly has enjoyed a varied career, mainly in HR, Cross-Cultural and Charitable fields. He has been a Personnel Director in Unilever and British Alcan, International Employee Development Consultant in the Middle East, Central and Northern Europe and Australia, a Youth Charity Trustee with AFS and Global Generation, a founding National Assessor of Investors In People, and most recenly SME consultant between organisations in SW China and the UK.
He co-founded The Links Centre 2030 CIC in May 2021 along with his erstwhile colleague and friend Eddie McArdle, and is involved closely with the local NHS consultative systems and the Leatherhead Community Hub in transforming the aspirations and achievements of young people across Surrey, initially in North Leatherhead, with training, skills development and career guidance into meaningful employment. This involves linking local Business, Education, Public Institutions and Skills Providers with potential Participants (the "Hidden Neets"), over the coming decade - hence the name of the organisation, The Links Centre 2030, which as a Community Investment Company (CIC) is run on business lines with all profits returned into the future activities of the organisation.
Bill has been married for over 50 years, lived in Surrey for the past 30 years and has brought up three children and six grandchildren at local schools. He is a Secondary School Governor, and an Independent Person who ajudicates on disciplinary matters within local Councils, and Chairs his local Roads Association on Box Hill.
